Crepe Paper Mache Recipe

Crepe Paper

A less messy and sticky version of the more well known paper mache. Try it, you will like it.

Ingredients:

1 package of crepe paper
1 1/2 cups of flour
1/4 cup of salt

Instructions:

  • Cut the crepe paper into small pieces. Smaller pieces gives a smoother texture.
  • Mix the paper and enough water to cover it in a saucepan.
  • Let stand for 8 hours.
  • Drain the paper well, but not completely dry.
  • Mix flour and salt together.
  • Stir into the crepe paper mixture gradually, until the consistency is like thick dough.
  • A less messy version of standard paper mache.
