Liquid Starch Paper Mache Recipe
Liquid starch is an effective paper mache shortcut. It works extremely well, but takes some of the handcraft out of paper mache making.
Ingredients:
3 cups of full strength liquid starch
Newspapers or paper towels
Instructions:
- Tear 1 inch strips of newspaper or towels.
- Dip the in the liquid starch and remove the excess.
- Place the strips in thin layers on a balloon or similar.
- Let each layer dry before adding more.
- The finished piece can be painted.
